Castagno Organic Durum Wheat Penne with Basil and Tomato is manufactured only with selected raw materials. The durum wheat is purely Italian and comes completely from Sicily. The vegetables and the spices used are in pieces and/or leaves and the stalks and the yellow parts are discarded. No flavourings are used. The result is an organic first course characterized by the strong and delicious basil and tomato taste enabling to season this pasta only with raw oil or butter without adding other sauce. This is represented by the basil and tomato contained in the pasta.

How to
Bring a large pot of water to a boil on the stove. 1 liter of water is recommended for every 100 grams of pasta. When the water comes to a boil, add Castagno pasta and a pinch of sea salt for taste, stir occasionally. Cook at a rapid boil for approximately 5-7 minutes or until the pasta is al dente. Drain the pasta and season it preferably with extra virgin olive oil or butter. This pasta can be served with any sauce.
